Rainforest Pictures

July 18th, 2011 · No Comments · Uncategorized

This term, Year Three have been busy creating these fantastic rainforest pictures. The pictures have involved using several art processes and the result is a super texturised effect. First, the children used a variety of patterned sponges to create a sponged background. Next, the children drew and then painted a variety of rainforest animals. Finally, the children created a border of leaves by cutting out leaf shapes from a selection of green paper. Brilliant! If you have enjoyed looking at these pictures, why don’t you leave a comment?

The children in Year Three have really enjoyed making biscuits. After designing their biscuit, they had to follow their instructions carefully. As you can see from the slideshow, all the children worked incredibly hard during their cookery afternoon. Thank you to Lucy W and Molly J from Year Five for making this fantastic slideshow!
